Acer announces new and redesigned Windows 10 PCs

Today at IFA 2016, Acer unveiled several great new Windows 10 devices and desktop monitors, including PCs built ready for gaming or working on-the-go. The Acer Swift 7 and Spin 7 with Windows 10 are both less than three pounds and extremely thin, so you can take them anywhere. The Predator 21 X, a 21” Curved-Screen Notebook with Windows 10 comes with built-in eye-tracking hardware (infrared sensors and software), introducing new interactions in gaming like aiming, identifying enemies and taking cover simply by gazing at objects on the screen. The infrared sensors also enable Windows Hello for added security and convenience, scanning your face to unlock the device, in place of typing passwords.

Let’s take a look at a few of these devices:

The Acer Swift 7 with Windows 10

Lightweight and extremely thin, the Swift 7 weighs in at just 2.48 pounds and measures .39 inches thin. Its black-and-gold dual tone design adds a touch of elegance to its durable all-aluminum unibody, while tough Corning Gorilla Glass provides superior scratch resistance to the 13.3-inch Full HD IPS2 display with a micro-bezel.  With up to 9 hours of battery life, it is the perfect notebook for those on-the-go.

The Acer Spin 7 with Windows 10

Its 13-inch all-aluminum unibody houses a 14-inch FHD IPS Corning Gorilla Glass touchscreen display with a narrow bezel, perfect for drawing with Windows Ink or marking up webpages in Microsoft Edge. Sleek and contemporary, the Spin 7’s matte black chassis is complemented with polished silver hinges and diamond-cut edges around the touchpad. A wide-glass touchpad helps fingers glide smoothly across the surface with minimal friction.
