HP Spectre x360 13 debuts

For those who want one device for both their professional and personal pursuits, the new HP Spectre x360 13 emphasizes mobility and security to work anywhere, anytime.

The new Spectre has two times the performance of the previous generation [1], and is HP’s first convertible with a quad-core 10th Generation Intel Core processor and Intel Iris Plus Graphics, verified to the target specification and key experiences of Intel’s Project Athena innovation program. The device has up to 22 hours of battery life [2].

It’s dramatically smaller than its previous generation, with an industry leading 90% screen-to-body ratio at every angle [3]. The new Spectre has also improved cord management by placing the USB-C port angled in the right corner and the power button on the left corner of the device to avoid accidental power shut-offs.

To help users protect their privacy, the HP Webcam Kill Switch counters webcam hacking. The new Spectre also comes with standard security features such as a Windows Hello enabled IR camera and a fingerprint reader, conveniently located on the keyboard deck.

The device now comes in Natural Silver, adding to already polished finishes in Nightfall Black with Copper Luxe accents and Poseidon Blue with Pale Brass accents.

It’s expected to be available in October via HP.com, with a starting price of $1,099.
