New Dell Latitude Rugged laptops made to handle extreme jobs
If you’re looking for a mobile computer that can withstand the harshest and most demanding environments, Dell’s Latitude Rugged laptops are an option to consider.
The Dell Latitude 5430 Rugged and the Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme laptops are the latest additions to the Rugged portfolio. Both are expected to be available in December with Windows 11 pre-installed. This is the operating system for hybrid work and learning, where work is constantly changing. It is flexible, consistent, secure and works how you work.
As Tom Tobul, vice president and general manager for the Performance PCs portfolio of products at Dell Technologies, writes regarding Dell’s new machines, “Whether you’re working on an oil rig, are a first responder, work in manufacturing or are a member of the military and out in the field – your technology is exposed to elements and conditions like extreme temperatures, constant vibrations or high levels of dust and humidity – environments that would push the limitations of a traditional office laptop.”
These devices come with 11th Gen Intel Core processors, with vPro optional, for enhanced field productivity, Intel Wi-Fi 6E and optional 5G capability for mission-critical connectivity, improved daylight-readability and glove-touch capable screens and battery run-time up to 25 hours.
They also come with TPM 2.0 ControlVault advanced authentication to secure devices. Integrated cryptographic keys, contacted and contactless smartcard reader and touch fingerprint reader options provide additional device security. Windows 11 was designed with security in mind to meet the challenges of a hybrid work environment.
