Surface Multi-National Purchasing Program expands to Europe

Surface Multi-National Purchasing Program expands to Europe

Last July, as a part of the Surface Enterprise Initiative, we announced a new Surface Multi-National Purchasing Program with four resellers – CDW, Insight, SHI and Zones. Our goal was to provide enterprise customers a more streamlined path for getting Surface on company-wide standards lists and for cross-country adoption for line of business scenarios.

The growth of the program has been astounding. In just over six months, we’ve seen 10x growth in the number of units we’re shipping to customers via the program in the US. It’s also helped our partners better service their customers:

“Zones has been incredible to work with on getting us globally set up on the Microsoft Surface. The speed and efficiency in enabling us on our pricing globally has made it easy for us to standardize all of our new hires on the Surface Book and Pro 4. Zones makes it even better with being able to order it via their global portal so any of my employees can order the Surface no matter where they are in the world.”

— Steve Juanario, Palo Alto Networks

However, up until today we’ve primarily served US-headquartered companies. Today, I’m happy to announce the expansion of the program with three new partners in Europe: ATEA, Bechtle and Computacenter. This will enable us to provide the same streamlined path for companies throughout the region to procure Surface devices and accessories. In addition, we plan to roll this out in APAC very soon.

Customers with European-based headquarters can benefit from this program by contacting their Microsoft Account Executives.

Thanks,
Calin
