In early February,Ā UnicodeĀ finalizedĀ the set of emoji to be included with Emoji 12.0. WithĀ theĀ MayĀ build, when you press WIN+(period) or WIN+(semicolon),Ā all ofĀ these emoji now have keywordsĀ linked to them toĀ makeĀ them more searchable, so you can tryĀ it once you install the build.Ā Keywords include otter, sloth, waffle, ballet shoesĀ and more.Ā
The new emojiās expansion into the animal kingdomĀ alsoĀ includes orangutans andĀ flamingos. Foodies can now pop inĀ š§ (butter),Ā š§ (garlic),Ā š§
Ā (onion),Ā
The release of EmojiĀ versionĀ 12.0Ā aims toĀ better represent people with disabilities.Ā Youāll now seeĀ mechanical limbs,Ā sign language and hearing aids;Ā as well asĀ manual and motorized wheelchairs and two different versions of service animals.Ā
There are also many new emojis that represent different combinationsĀ of relationships and skin tones.Ā There are nowĀ five skin tonesĀ as well as nearly 70 different possible combinations of the āPeople holding handsā emoji.Ā
