Windows 10 Tip: Emoji 12 ๐โจ๐

In early February,ย Unicodeย finalizedย the set of emoji to be included with Emoji 12.0. Withย theย Mayย build, when you press WIN+(period) or WIN+(semicolon),ย all ofย these emoji now have keywordsย linked to them toย makeย them more searchable, so you can tryย it once you install the build.ย Keywords include otter, sloth, waffle, ballet shoesย and more.ย
The new emojiโs expansion into the animal kingdomย alsoย includes orangutans andย flamingos. Foodies can now pop inย ๐ง (butter),ย ๐ง (garlic),ย ๐ง
ย (onion),ย 
ย (falafel),ย ๐งย (waffles)ย andย ๐ง (ice cube). (The newest images won’t appear in this post if you don’t yet have the update.) Thereย areย a total ofย 59 new emoji and 171 new variations on existing onesย in Emoji 12.ย
The release of Emojiย versionย 12.0ย aims toย better represent people with disabilities.ย Youโll now seeย mechanical limbs,ย sign language and hearing aids;ย as well asย manual and motorized wheelchairs and two different versions of service animals.ย
There are also many new emojis that represent different combinationsย of relationships and skin tones.ย There are nowย five skin tonesย as well as nearly 70 different possible combinations of the โPeople holding handsโ emoji.ย
