Microservices March 2023: Start Delivering Microservices What Is Microservices March? It’s a month‑long, free educational program designed to up‑level your knowledge of various microservices topics. (If you missed last year’s program, you can catch all the content on demand.) What Will I Learn? Microservices have transformed modern software by enabling developers to build a complex application out of small, communicating components that each perform a specific function. Even if your organization hasn’t transitioned into using microservices architectures, there’s a good chance it will in the future. For Microservices March 2023, we’re addressing some of the key fundamentals of delivering microservices. Each unit includes a one-hour webinar that provides a high‑level overview of the topic, followed by a hands‑on lab where you can run through common scenarios using technologies related to delivering microservices. TL;DR This build is available for Arm64 devices as the known issue that resulted in not releasing Build 25284 to Arm64 last week has been fixed. We have more new widgets for Insiders in the Dev Channel to try! This build includes a set of general improvements and fixes. What’s new New Widgets: Spotify and Phone Link Last week, we promoted a preview of the widget for the Messenger app. Spotify and Phone Link are now rolling out preview versions of their widgets as well. Microsoft Edge and Interop 2023 Microsoft Edge joins Apple, Bocoup, Google, Igalia, and Mozilla in announcing the launch of Interop 2023. This is a continuation of the Compat 2021 and Interop 2022 efforts to prioritize cross-browser interoperability in areas that matter the most to web developers. We know that cross-browser development remains one of the top pain points amongst web devs, and together with our partners we’re committed to improving the situation. Focus areas this year include: Container queries. CSS :has() pseudo-class. WebComponents improvements like constructable stylesheets and form-associated custom elements. Offscreen Canvas. Many more top developer requests. Some of the focus areas from last year will also be carried over, such as CSS subgrid, which the Edge team will be shipping to Chromium early this year.
