새로운 기능 – AWS SSO용 WebAuthn을 통한 Multi-Factor Authentication 오늘부터는 현재 지원되는 일회용 암호(OTP) 및 Radius 인증자 외에도 WebAuthn을 Multi-Factor Authentication(MFA)으로 AWS Single Sign-On에 추가할 수 있습니다. FIDO Alliance와의 협업을 통해 개발된 W3C 사양의 WebAuthn에 대한 지원을 추가하여 시스템 관리자가 프로비저닝하거나 노트북 또는 스마트폰에 내장된 다양한 상호 운용 가능한 인증자로 인증할 수 있습니다. 예를 들어 이제 하드웨어 보안 키를 누르거나, Mac에서 지문 센서를 터치하거나, 모바일 디바이스 또는 PC에서 안면 인식을 사용하여 AWS Management Console 또는 AWS CLI(명령줄 인터페이스)로 인증할 수 있습니다. 이러한 추가 덕분에, 이제 여러 MFA 인증자를 자체 등록할 수 있습니다. 그 결과 기본 인증자 디바이스를 분실하거나 잘못 배치한 경우 AWS에서 다른 디바이스로 인증할 수 있게 됩니다. 장기적인 관리 용이성을 위해 디바이스의 이름을 쉽게 지정할 수 있도록 했습니다.
