2017-02-11 KENNETH 0

Windows SDK for Google Analytics Google Analytics is one of the most popular analytics libraries for websites and mobile apps. Google Analytics is widely used to track user sessions, screen views, events, crashes, social interactions and promotional campaigns on Android and iOS. Today, we are excited to announce that Microsoft is launching a Windows SDK for Google Analytics, providing an easy way for Windows 10 developers to access these valuable services. The SDK can be integrated into your apps via a NuGet package. The source is hosted on GitHub. There is a C# SDK that can be used both by Universal Windows Store apps and desktop apps, and there is also a C++ WinRT component for developers targeting UWP apps written in C++ or JavaScript.  Both the C# SDK and the C++ WinRT component use the same API names, so [ more… ]

Software description linux-raspi2 – Linux kernel for Raspberry Pi 2 Details Mikulas Patocka discovered that the asynchronous multibuffer cryptographicdaemon (mcryptd) in the Linux kernel did not properly handle being invokedwith incompatible algorithms. A local attacker could use this to cause adenial of service (system crash). (CVE-2016-10147) It was discovered that a use-after-free existed in the KVM susbsystem ofthe Linux kernel when creating devices. A local attacker could use this tocause a denial of service (system crash). Shared Caches with NGINX Plus Cache Clusters, Part 2 Editor – This is the second part of a series on high‑capacity and high‑availability caching: Shared Caches with NGINX Plus Cache Clusters, Part 1 Shared Caches with NGINX Plus Cache Clusters, Part 2 (this post) How can you build a large‑capacity, highly available cache cluster using NGINX or NGINX Plus? This posts describes how to use two or more NGINX or NGINX Plus cache servers to create a highly available cache cluster. (Except as noted, the method described here applies equally to open source NGINX and NGINX Plus, but for brevity we’ll refer to NGINX Plus only.) Review – the Sharded Cache Solution The first part of this series described a pattern for creating very large, sharded cache clusters. This pattern is effective when you need to create a very large‑capacity cache that can be scaled up [ more… ]
