WebView2 is now Generally Available for WinUI 2 (UWP) apps With the recent release of WinUI 2.8, WebView2 is now Generally Available for desktop UWP apps. Support for this platform was a top ask from our WebView2 customers, and we’re thrilled to provide a stable platform offering for customers to build and ship production apps for UWP with WebView2. PowerApps is one of the first WinUI 2 apps to use WebView2 in their production app, using WebView2 to power their entire UI experience. PowerApps allows customers to build apps quickly with a drag-and-drop UI and then deploy with one click to many platforms including iOS, Android, Windows, and the web.
