Amazon QuickSight 정식 출시 – 비전문가를 위한 빅데이터 비지니스 인텔리전스 도구 활용해보기 스타트업부터 엔터프라이즈 기업까지 1,500여 AWS고객이 베타 테스트를 진행해 왔던 Amazon QuickSight를 오늘 정식 출시하였습니다. 작년 미리 보기 출시를 하면서 아래와 같이 소개하였습니다. “과거에는 비지니스 인텔리전스(Business Intelligence)를 구성하려면 매우 복잡하고 다양한 이슈를 가지고 있었을 뿐 아니라 인프라 및 소프트웨어를 구성하고 설정하고 확장성을 고려하고, 여러분의 모델을 만들어줄 컨설턴트를 고용하는데 많은 비용이 들었습니다. 또한, 사용자들은 데이터를 탐색하는데 복잡한 인터페이스를 가지고 되었고, 그런 인터페이스로 모바일 기기 활용이나 NoSQL 및 스트리밍 데이터 접근도 어렵습니다.” Amazon QuickSight 는 매우 빠른 클라우드 기반 비즈니스 인텔리전스(BI) 서비스로서, 모든 직원이 데이터를 사용하여 손쉽게 시각화를 구축하고, 임시 분석을 수행하며, 비즈니스 통찰력을 신속하게 확보할 수 있게 해줍니다. Amazon QuickSight는 새로운 매우 빠른 병렬 인 메모리 컴퓨팅 엔진인 “SPICE (Super-fast, Parallel, In-Memory Calculation Engine)”를 사용하여 고급 컴퓨팅을 수행하고 빠르게 시각화를 구현합니다. WordCamp US 2017-2018 in Nashville

WordCamp US 2017-2018 in Nashville The title says it all. We had some great applications for cities to host WordCamp US after we finish up in Philadelphia this year, and the city chosen for 2017-2018 is Nashville, Tennessee. Based on the other great applications we got I’m also excited about the pipeline of communities that could host it in future years as WordCamp US travels across the United States and gives us an opportunity to learn and love a new city, as we have with Philadelphia. Australian Department of Human Services achieves full Windows 10 deployment Windows10 is enabling Australian Department of Human Services to deliver better access to healthcare, disability and employment support. I had the good fortune to spend a part of my young life in Australia not as a tourist but as an employee of small tour company. Traveling to some of the most majestic cities like Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide and Melbourne, to some of the more rural areas within Queenstown Tasmania, Wagga Wagga New South Wales to Goondiwindi Queensland. I saw first-hand the tyranny of distance in Australia. My time in Australia gave me an appreciation not only of the citizens and the country, but also of the Australian Department of Human Service’s story.
