Sea of Thieves Talk Like a Pirate Day coming Sept. 17 Sea of Thieves Season Seven Community Day is set to come ashore on Sept. 17. As a Talk Like a Pirate Day special, the event will offer rewards available across the weekend, with in-game and out-of-game surprises for your pirating pleasure. “This latest Community Day will feature a generous Renown boost from the very beginning, speeding up your progress through Season Seven’s 100 levels of earnable rewards,” writes Rare’s Christina McGrath in a post on Xbox Wire. “But as with our very first Community Day, it’s gold and reputation that will be significantly boosted by our community tweet-along this time. Journey to the irradiated remnants of Pittsburgh in Fallout 76: The Pitt Fallout 76’s Expeditions update is here, inviting players to go beyond the borders of post-nuclear Appalachia and explore new territory. “Go on a journey to The Pitt, a city built upon the irradiated remnants of Pittsburgh that players first encountered in 2009 as downloadable content for Fallout 3,” writes Parker Wilhelm, PR and marketing content manager for Bethesda Softworks. “Battle vicious Trogs and other hazards as you navigate violent tensions between the local union faction and the wild fanatics that besiege them.” The launch of Expeditions also includes an all-new season for players to dive into. WebView2 is now Generally Available for WinUI 2 (UWP) apps With the recent release of WinUI 2.8, WebView2 is now Generally Available for desktop UWP apps. Support for this platform was a top ask from our WebView2 customers, and we’re thrilled to provide a stable platform offering for customers to build and ship production apps for UWP with WebView2. PowerApps is one of the first WinUI 2 apps to use WebView2 in their production app, using WebView2 to power their entire UI experience. PowerApps allows customers to build apps quickly with a drag-and-drop UI and then deploy with one click to many platforms including iOS, Android, Windows, and the web.
