Highlights from State of the Word 2021 State of the Word 2021, the annual keynote from WordPress co-founder Matt Mullenweg, happened on December 14. The hybrid event took place in New York City with a small audience (proof of vaccination required). As Matt said, “we had people join by plane, train, and automobile.” Those who didn’t make the trek to the live event watched the livestream from wherever they call home, all around the world.  It was an exciting moment for the WordPress community which also celebrated its first in-person WordCamp in Sevilla, Spain, after a lengthy hiatus for in-person events. Minecraft New Year’s celebration begins: Sale starts Dec. 21 The Minecraft team has announced that its New Year’s Celebration is now officially in session. “Go! Rejoice! Check out Minecraft Marketplace, try on some skins, play the maps and have fun – in whatever order you like,” Sofia Dankis declared in a post on Minecraft.net. Throughout the celebration, Minecraft will also be releasing free maps for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and Minecraft: Java Edition, as well as daily free Character Creator items that start dropping on Dec. 21. You can find the Bedrock: Edition maps in Minecraft Marketplace, along with a sale that will take place between Dec. 21 and Jan. 4. Announcing Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22523 Hello Windows Insiders, today we are releasing Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22523 to the Dev Channel. TL;DR ARM64 PCs will be offered this build. We are providing ISOs for this build which can be downloaded here. This will be our final flight for the holidays. See you in 2022! AWS 아시아 태평양(자카르타) 리전 정식 출시 인도네시아 자카르타의 AWS 리전이 정식 출시되었으며, 바로 사용을 시작할 수 있습니다. 정식 이름은 아시아 태평양(자카르타)이며, API 이름은 ap-southeast-3입니다. Please do not run this software on a production site; install it on a test site, where you can try out the newest features and get a feel for how they will work on your site. You can test the WordPress 5.9 Beta 3 in three ways: Option 1: Install and activate the WordPress Beta Tester plugin (select the “Bleeding edge” channel and “Beta/RC Only” stream). Option 2: Direct download the beta version.
