Lenovo expands Windows 10 PC options by adding AMD Ryzen processors to 5 gaming PCs
Following the spring launch of the Lenovo Legion lineup that focused on a better keyboard and thermals, Lenovo has added AMD Ryzen processors to five new gaming PCs — the 17-inch Lenovo Legion 5 laptop, the Lenovo Legion 5P laptop, the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 laptop for entry-level gaming, plus the Lenovo Legion Tower 5 and IdeaCentre Gaming 5 desktops.
AMD Ryzen 4000 H-Series Mobile Processors can improve laptop performance by raising clock speeds — making games, content creation and productivity applications all run much faster.
When paired with available NVIDIA GeForce GPUs, this gaming portfolio can tackle the latest games with impressive speed.
The Lenovo Legion 5 laptop comes in two sizes (17-inch and a 15-inch size that’s already available with AMD Ryzen CPU) and is equipped with up to AMD Ryzen 7 4800 H-Series Mobile Processors paired with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPUs. It is expected to be available starting at $1089.99 in September.
The 15-inch Lenovo Legion 5 laptop with up to AMD Ryzen 7 4800 H-Series Mobile Processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU is expected to be available starting at $1019.99 in August. It’s also available now with up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti GPU starting at $759.99.
Ideal for eSports, the Lenovo Legion 5P laptop has up to AMD Ryzen 7 4800 H-Series Mobile Processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPUs. At up to 300 nits of brightness, the 15.6-inch Full HD wide-viewing angle display has lightning-fast 144Hz refresh rate for under a 5ms response time to reduce screen tearing. The enhanced thermal performance of Lenovo Legion Coldfront 2.0 is engineered to help keep heat away from players’ fingertips and minimize noise. It also uses an integrated thermal module for greater thermal efficiency. Dedicated media keys and number pad make video editing and setting macros a snap.
This 15-inch Lenovo Legion 5P laptop will not be offered in North America, but will be available in select markets.
With improved thermals, the new 15.6-inch IdeaPad Gaming 3 laptop has up to AMD Ryzen 7 4800 H-Series Mobile Processors and up to crystal-clear full HD wide-viewing angle display with a slim bezel design. It’s expected to be available starting at $659.99 later this month.
If you’re looking for a set-up to match marathon gaming sessions, the new Lenovo Legion Tower 5 includes up to AMD Ryzen 9 3950X desktop processor with 16 cores. It’s expected to be available starting at $829.99 in October with AMD Ryzen 7X Desktop Processors in North America.
Finally, the new IdeaCentre Gaming 5 is available in iridescent Chameleon Blue and offers up to AMD Ryzen 7 3700X desktop processors paired with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU made to help you move faster and aim better, while GeForce RTX 2060 graphics reveal the depth and visual fidelity of real-time ray-tracing. It will not be offered in North America, but will be available in select markets.
