Microsoft Inspire announcements Microsoft Edge joins FastTrack Ready Partner program—Next month, the FastTrack Ready Partner program expands to include Microsoft Edge, giving customers even more options to get help with deploying and configuring the new Microsoft Edge in their organizations. Starting August 2020, eligible customers with 150 or more paid seats of Windows 10 Enterprise can work with a FastTrack Ready Partner to receive deployment guidance for Microsoft Edge. Lenovo expands Windows 10 PC options by adding AMD Ryzen processors to 5 gaming PCs 17-inch Lenovo Legion 5 laptop Following the spring launch of the Lenovo Legion lineup that focused on a better keyboard and thermals, Lenovo has added AMD Ryzen processors to five new gaming PCs — the 17-inch Lenovo Legion 5 laptop, the Lenovo Legion 5P laptop, the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 laptop for entry-level gaming, plus the Lenovo Legion Tower 5 and IdeaCentre Gaming 5 desktops. AMD Ryzen 4000 H-Series Mobile Processors can improve laptop performance by raising clock speeds — making games, content creation and productivity applications all run much faster. When paired with available NVIDIA GeForce GPUs, this gaming portfolio can tackle the latest games with impressive speed. Phil Spencer on the future of gaming

Phil Spencer on the future of gaming At Xbox, they’re listening to players, game developers, content creators and streamers. And based on that feedback, Phil Spencer, executive vice president of Gaming at Microsoft, has laid out a road map to the future of gaming and Xbox in a new blog post. “We’re building a future where you and your friends can play the deepest, most immersive and interactive games ever created across your Xbox console, PC and mobile devices,” he writes. Commitments include new technology to reduce hate speech and toxicity and empowering creators of diverse backgrounds to develop new stories. With Xbox Series X, all games will look and play best on the newest console – whether they come from Xbox Game Studios or publisher and developer partners. Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20170 Hello Windows Insiders, today we’re releasing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20170 to Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. PLEASE NOTE: Windows Insiders with PCs that have AMD processors will not be offered this build today due to a bug impacting overall usability of these PCs. The issue should be fixed for the next flight. Announcing WinUI 3 Preview 2 At our monthly community call this morning we announced that a new preview of WinUI 3 is ready for you all to try out – WinUI 3 Preview 2! If you’re too excited to read ahead, check out the release notes here. WinUI 3 Preview 2 was a quality and stability-driven release. It builds directly on Preview 1 by fixing quite a few critical and serious bugs that didn’t make the cut in time for our release at Build 2020 two months ago. The team wanted to put together a small release post-Build to make sure that WinUI 3 is stable and easy to use for everyone.
