Windows 10 SDK Preview Build 18346 available now! On Tuesday, we released a new Windows 10 Preview Build of the SDK to be used in conjunction with Windows 10 Insider Preview (Build 18346 or greater). The Preview SDK Build 18346 contains bug fixes and under development changes to the API surface area. The Preview SDK can be downloaded from developer section on Windows Insider. For feedback and updates to the known issues, please see the developer forum. For new developer feature requests, head over to our Windows Platform UserVoice. Things to note: This build works in conjunction with previously released SDKs and Visual Studio 2017. You can install this SDK and still also continue to submit your apps that target Windows 10 build 1809 or earlier to the Microsoft Store. Updated Microsoft Store App Developer Agreement: New Revenue Share As of March 5th, the Microsoft Store team has updated the Microsoft Store App Developer Agreement (ADA). The next time you log into your Partner Center dashboard, you or someone with an administrative role on your account will be prompted to reaccept the ADA before you can continue to update or manage your applications. The updated ADA includes the new Microsoft Store fee structure that delivers up to 95 percent of the revenue back to consumer app developers. To ensure you receive the full 95 percent revenue, be sure to instrument your referring traffic URLs with a CID. What’s New Server Core App Compatibility feature on demand (FOD): The Server Core App Compatibility FOD was new in Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server, version 1809.  We are continuing investment in the App Compatibility FOD based on customer and Insider feedback. Windows 10 Tip: Look up definitions for words in web pages, books and PDFs Did you know you can look up definitions while you’re reading web pages, books and PDFs, thanks to the Windows 10 October 2018 Update? Microsoft Edge is the only browser with Microsoft Learning Tools built-in that help improve reading and focus. While you’re in Reading view on Microsoft Edge, you can look up definitions for key words, even when you are offline. Simply select a single word to see the definition appear above your selection. Check it out in action: You can also choose to have a word read aloud so you can hear the correct pronunciation or expand more details from the definition.
