Introducing a new experience for Gmail accounts in Windows 10 Mail & Calendar apps Over the past year we’ve introduced many new features in Windows 10 Mail & Calendar apps for users with Outlook.com accounts—such as easily tracking travel and shipping deliveries, making emails more actionable, helping you easily track your favorite sports events, faster search, and more. We’re now excited to bring these features to our users with Gmail accounts, so you can enjoy the best of what Windows 10 Mail & Calendar have to offer. We’ll roll out the improved experience gradually to users with Gmail accounts in the Windows Insiders program over the next several weeks.  We’d love for you to provide feedback on the experience in this phase.  After we’ve incorporated your feedback, we’ll proceed to roll out the updates to all Windows 10 users. With each new release of Microsoft Edge, we look at user feedback and telemetry data to identify opportunities to improve the Chakra JavaScript engine and enable better performance on real sites. In this post, we’ll walk you through some new features coming to Chakra with the Windows 10 Creators Update that improve the day-to-day browsing experience in Microsoft Edge, as well as some new experimental features for developers: WebAssembly, and Shared Memory and Atomics. Just released – Windows developer evaluation virtual machines – April 2017 build We’re releasing the April 2017 edition of our evaluation Windows developer virtual machines (VM) on Windows Dev Center. The VMs come in Hyper-V, Parallels, VirtualBox and VMWare flavors. The evaluation version will expire on 07/07/17. Evaluation VM contain: Windows 10 Creators Update – Enterprise Evaluation, Version 1703 Visual Studio 2017 with the Universal Windows Platform (15063 SDK) and Azure workflows enabled Windows UWP samples (March 2017 Update) Windows Subsystem for Linux If you want a non-evaluation version of the VM, we have those as well. They do require a Windows 10 Pro license, which you can get from the Microsoft Store. If you have feedback on the VMs, please provide it over at the Windows Developer Feedback UserVoice site.
