Windows Subsystem for Android™ Tips and Tricks July 2022 It has been exciting to see feedback on the Windows Subsystem for Android™, the core engine behind Mobile Apps on Windows      since we first made it available to our Windows Insiders audience last October. While we obviously appreciate the words of encouragement, we also value the suggestions on how we can do better. Releasing Windows 11 Build 22000.829 to the Release Preview Channel Hello Windows Insiders, today we’re releasing Windows 11 Build 22000.829 (KB5015882) to Insiders in the Release Preview Channel on Windows 11 (original release).   This update includes the following improvements: New! We provided the ability for you to consent to receive urgent notifications when focus assist is on. New! We provided the option for eligible devices to update to a newer Windows 11 version during the out-of-box experience (OOBE) when you first sign in. If you choose to update to a newer version, the update process will begin shortly after the update is installed on the device. New! We restored functionality for Windows Autopilot deployment scenarios that are affected by the security mitigation for hardware reuse. Camera App Refresh and Media Player Update for Windows Insiders Hello Windows Insiders, we are rolling out updates for Camera and Media Player to Windows Insiders on Windows 11 starting with the Dev Channel. Camera (version 2022.2206.2.0) The Camera app has been updated to match the beautiful new look and feel of Windows 11. In addition to the existing support for camera, video, document, and whiteboard capture modes, we are excited to introduce QR code and barcode scanning as well. FEEDBACK: Please file feedback in Feedback Hub (WIN + F) under Apps > Camera. Media Player (version 11.2206.30.0) Back in March, we introduced CD playback support to Media Player.
