ubuntu desktop change resolution on virtualbox

가상서버(virtualbox) 환경에서 ubuntu-desktop 을 설치했을 경우
화면의 해상도가 640×480(4:3) 밖에 표시되지 않는다.

”su -” or  ”sudo” 를 통해서
apt-get install virtualbox-guest-dkms virtualbox-guest-utils virtualbox-guest-x11

ubuntu14.04 버전에서 아래와 같은 에러가 발생할 수 있는데

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
virtualbox-guest-x11 : Depends: xorg-video-abi-15
Depends: xserver-xorg-core (>= 2:1.14.99.902)
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

이런 경우에는 그냥 속편하게..

가상머신창 메뉴의
”장치” -> ”게스트 확장 설치” 기능을 이용하면 된다.

결론은 그냥 ”장치” -> ”게스트 확장 설치” 기능을 이용하면 된다는거… ;;;;;;
